Everything is Smaller in India

(a little joke for my Texas friends)

We arrived in Tuesday, spent the night on our air mattresses in the Bombay airport, and flew to Delhi.  We’re spending the week with the Emmanuel Orphanage.  Emmanuel is part of Hopegivers International, which was started by one man here in India, and has raised hundreds of Orphans across the subcontinent.

So far, it seems like our main job has been surviving the 110+ degree heat.  In the mean time, we’ve had lots of opportunities to sing and play with the kids.  It’s a scorcher, but it’s going to be a great week.

Chrisssssss!!!! I miss you =). I’m glad you are having a great time. God is amazing and is showing His love to those kids through your life and the other missionaries from Global Journey. Don’t worry about surviving to heat. Yesterday at one point of the afternoon we got 104 degrees. When you get back you will feel just like having air conditioning everywhere. Sooooo, you will be completly fine in Texas where everything is bigger =). We’ll be here with opened arms to receive you =).

    God bless you, Jonh 15,
    Aline Wanderley.

Thanks for emailing me the blog post so I could clue in. After Texas, India shouldn’t be that much hotter, right? The Lord bless you and keep you, bro!
