"We need to move from avoiding behaviors to addressing the way of life. . ." makes me remember it. If we're addressing behaviors, we are trying to fulfill the law according to the strength of a corrupted flesh, and we WILL fail. (That, was the eye-opener, recently). Rather we must 'Live by the Spirit,' which I think is akin to, if not synonymous with the 'abiding' we are called to in John 15/1John. Sorry if that's random/preachy. Just some things what you're sharing connects with what God's been teaching/reminding me.
