Friday Round up: The National and the Despised

  • The National’s new album, with guest collaborators such as St. Vincent, Sharon Van Etten and Sufjan Stevens, is finally live on Spotify. Why aren’t you listening to it right now?
  • My final paper for Fuller Seminary discusses what the Anabaptist tradition has to say to the post-Christendom Church. It strikes me just how dangerous their claims were. I wonder what the dangerous claims would be today?
  • Barton Springs pool offers a lovely free swim every night at 9. It’s a perfect end to a hot, tough summer day. All Austinite’s should take advantage.
  • The Despised Onescollaborative blogging project, is working on it’s first ever synchro-blog for next week. Should be interesting.
  • Working on a new project for the fall which I’ll be introducing here soon. Very exciting.
