Friday Roundup

  • Excited to speak for the first time at Austin Mustard Seed this Sunday. Since it’s only our third gathering, we’ll be flashing forward to imagine the kind of fruit we hope God will lead us to bear.
  • There’s a lot of talk online this week about Christian Pacificism. I am yet not convinced this means Anabaptist suddenly have a place at the table. It seems more like another example of how the internet brings minority opinions attention. I HOPE I’m wrong.
  • Thankful to be doing some more writing for ExploreGod, a website that provides resources for individuals exploring the Christian faith.
  • Some of what I’ve written for them so far is an overview of the Apostle’s Creed and an introduction to our Mormon friends.
  • Since I’m doing so much writing lately, I decided to revisit Strunk and White’s The Element’s of StyleI forget just how many rules there are for commas.
