BIO

The Overview
I grew up in the beautiful state of Colorado. I’ve gone to church my whole life, but mark my spiritual journey with baptism at age 14. In Middle School I read a lot of comics. In High School, I did choir and theatre. Near the end of my High School career, God sent a few special friends who taught me about Christian community for the first time.
I spent four years at Harding University, in Searcy, Arkansas. Since then, I’ve spent time in Atlanta, Austin and San Antonio. In that time I’ve earned a B.A. in Music, hung out with homeless kids, written hundreds or small group lessons, made some movies, and even got my heart broken once or twice.
These days I’m learning what it really means to be a disciple. I don’t know where that will take me or how it will pay the bills. But I am determined to follow God…Even when it hurts.
The Passion
I am passionate about seeing the Kingdom of God explode across the cities of the world. My desire is to develop skills as a leader and public speaker, so that I can lead people to grow in their discipleship, and to inspire them to address the needs of the world around them. I am determined to create Acts 2-style Christian community everywhere I go.
The Interests
In my spare time, I listen to audiobooks, podcasts and indie music. I’ve learned a few things about Swing Dancing, and try to run a few miles everyday. Writers like C.S. Lewis and Dallas Willard have done the most to help me think about how I look at the Bible and the world. When looking to get away, you’ll find me reading Batman comics or a Star Wars book.
