BIO
I live in Austin, Texas, where I work with technology, churches and building community. In my down time you’ll find me working on my graduate degree, riding my bike around town, and hanging out in independent coffee shops.
THE BLOG
This blog is my exploration of Present Eternity. Posts fall under four categories: Life, Culture, Church and God. Two or three times a week, you’ll see posts on movies, politics, relationships and more. These are questioned to see their worth for today, tomorrow and eternity. I hope you’ll stop by frequently, subscribe, and leave comments.

BIOGRAPHY
I grew up in beautiful state of Colorado. I’ve gone to church my whole life, but mark my spiritual journey with baptism at age 14. In Middle School I read a lot of comics. In High School, I did choir and theatre.
The last ten years have been spent at Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas, as well as Atlanta, Austin and San Antonio. In that time I’ve earned a B.A. in Music, hung out with homeless kids, helped plant a church, written hundreds or small group lessons, ran a marathon, biked about 1000 miles, and even got my heart broken once or twice.
My life is pretty full these days. I work in retail, I help coordinate Conferences and Social Media for the church planting network Plantr, and I’m a student of Fuller Seminary. I love living in community with Vox Veniae, and serving at our community center Space12. I’m learning what it really means to be a disciple. I don’t know where that will take me or how it will pay the bills, but I’m learning, and writing about it here.
PASSIONS
I am passionate about seeing the Kingdom of God explode across the cities of the world. My desire is to develop skills as a leader and public speaker, so that I can lead people to grow in their discipleship, and to inspire them to address the needs of the world around them.
INTERESTS
In my spare time, I listen to audiobooks, podcasts and indie music. I ride my bike everywhere and I’ve learned a few things about Swing Dancing. Writers like C.S. Lewis and Dallas Willard have done the most to help me think about how I look at the Bible and the world. When looking to get away, you’ll find me reading Batman comics or a Star Wars book.
