It’s also accessible in size and relate-able in content. http://www.samsonsociety.org/

Same Kind of Different as Me is also really good. Autobiographical of a rich white Ft. Worth art dealer and the black homeless man who became his best friend.

City of Ember was a great children’s book that was a fun adventure and an easy read. (Esp. if the movie/trailer hasn’t ruined the mystery for you).

Can any of them be Graphic novels? 😛
