An orientation? Your culture will always push you towards its cultural idols and away from mission. (Like I constantly feel lure of comfort, security, and entertainment) Maybe martial arts is a good analogy. A black-belt doesn’t arrive and then stop training. It has to be a way of life or you will eventually lose your edge. . .
