However, I feel like there are still a lot of modernistic and Christendom tendencies in the efforts of most of these thinkers. Perhaps what is missing is a genuine “Mars Hill” style approach.

That begs the question, what are the “unknown gods” of the 21st century?

The RZIM team put out a lot of good material. Not afraid to challenge anyone’s Epistemelogical presuppositions, but very diplomatic and compassionate along the way. I just listened to one of theirs emphasizing that the apologist is not an argument-ninja, emphasizing the danger of winning the argument but losing the soul. 
 
You’re right, Tim Keller does a really good job, too.
