Winsome people desire to relate with others, and they make others feel heard and appreciated.Example: “Billy Graham possessed a warm, winsome personality that encouraged even critics of the gospel to spend time with him and hear out the claims of the Bible.”The root word of *winsome* is the Old English word “win” (or “wynn”) which means “joy.” So “winsome” literally means “filled with joy and sharing that joy with others.”

@MAGuyton I was just discussing with another attendee today how Cherith was one of the best preacher’s we’d ever heard. As a died-in-the-wool Arminian, I have often wished that the UMC would step up. You should reach out to Eric Vogt at Servant Church, a likeminded UMC plant that spoke at the Ecclesia/Missio Regional in Austin.

@DanStringer I wish you could have been there. I highly recommend ordering the audio/video resources, and connecting to Ecclesia Network members online. If you need to fly someone out to speak in Hawaii, I might be able to fit it in 😉

@jrrozko Thanks, JR. I had my first “I’m not crazy!” moment at the Ecclesia Missional Commons a few years ago. (Or at least the only one.) I am still discerning my role in a lot of things, but I am getting more excited. Thanks for bringing it all together.
