I am not offended by those who stay silent (perhaps for fear of casting blame, expressing anger, or a feeling of helplessness). Its a personal choice. I’m not going to take that away from you. But personally I feel as though this is a story about “us” and solidarity in the pain is sometimes helpful for those close to the issue. 

Regardless thank you for sharing. I certainly appreciate and respect your perspective. P.S. really like the three suggestions you offered.
