Friday Roundup

  • I kept one roommate busy while the other did this.  Happy April Fools Day.
  • Possibly the biggest Christian archeological find of all time?  I’ll blog it next week.
  • I’ve been on an embarrassing number of first dates over the last year.  I’m starting to think this is the definition of insanity.
  • Currently working through How to Read the Bible for All Its Worth.
  • I’m thinking about doing a series on tips and gear for bicycle commuting. Or maybe even a separate website.  Thoughts?
  • Lent is tough.  The main thing way its affected my life is a drop in the number of showers I take a week.
  • Henri Nouwen’s legacy in regard to Spiritual Direction.
  • Buying plane tickets for class in May.  I’m really excited to meet the my MAGL cohort in person.
  • Weekend music: the Vox community is putting on a benefit concert for Japan.  A co-worker’s band, The Great Nostalgic, is releasing a new album at Emo’s on Saturday.
