Friday Round Up

  • I’m working on a magnum opus of sorts for this blog, where I try to identify characteristics I see in myself and other young Christians.  I wish I could come up with something at catch as “Young. Restless. Reformed.”  How about Smelly Peace-Loving Urban Gardeners?  Not quite the same ring. Suggestions?
  • My roommate @sickaction’s family has been in town.  Every night has been a feast.  I have gained 30 lbs.
  • Star Wars novels on audio are popcorn for the ears.  Except that I hate popcorn and I love Star Wars.
  • CNN on the pains of online dating.
  • Cracked a valve off a tube trying to pump it up today.  Life on a bike.
  • Things, a great GTD solution, is promising that they will FINALLY have cloud sync.  About time.  They hint it will cost money.  Not sure how they can justify it in a world with Dropbox…not to mention Google.
  • About six weeks ago I added  a WordPress SEO plugin.  My hits have quintupled.
  • Hundreds of said hits (about 25% of my traffic) have been for this post about Kim Jong Il. The SEO gods are weird.
  • Had a lot of In Real Life response to my post about Facebook and depression.  Glad I’m not alone in this.
  • Going to be totally swamped for the next two weeks.  Then two weeks in Colorado Springs.
